Friday 5: Metaphores be with you

  1. When you go to the beach, lake, or pool, are you more likely to lower yourself gradually into cold water or to take a determined plunge and get it over with?
Haven't went swimming for a long time but I think I usually went in gradually to get used to the temperature of the water
  2. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other tasks or ordeals?
I think I do pretty much the same with other things. I get into it gradually until I learn or get used to it enough.
  3. When someone gives you flowers, are you more likely to let them turn completely brown and gross before throwing them out, or to discard them the moment they take on that sick-flower look?
I would more than likely keep them as long as possible
  4. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other gifts, purchases, or relationships?
I thinks its just like any thing else. I'll try to keep it for as long as possible, even if they lived out there use. I'm sure I'd be able to find some other use for them.
  5. Think of your favorite movie (or a movie you really like, if you can’t think of a favorite). Some people say that the reasons you love your favorite movie are related to what you value in romantic relationships. How is this true or untrue in your case?
So.. does that mean i should start living a double life as a caped crusader and fight crime?

Friday 5 - Bad Food

  1. What was the last meal that caused you to be ill?
I get stomach aces pretty often after eating breakfast sometimes. I get them so often though so it really doesn't bother me too much anymore. They usually only last for an hour or two and their gone. The last major illness I remember was after eating school lunch in high school a few years ago. I think I had toasted cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.
  2. Are there any places you never dine anymore because of a bad experience hours after the meal?
Not that I can think of.
  3. What’s your prescription for dealing with a food-caused illness?
I don't really have one. I usually just ignore the stomach aces after breakfast since they don't last too long.
  4. When friends tell you about coming down with food-caused illnesses, do you avoid the places they name, or do you figure it’s a dice-roll wherever you go?
I guess it's a dice-roll. Besides, if get sick there as well I'm sure someone will complain to the restaurant and they will try to get rid of whats making them sick. Either that or they will get shut down by the health department.
  5. After numerous citations, a very, very popular restaurant that you’re quite fond of is shut down by the health department until it can get everything up to code. When the health department gives the restaurant the o.k. to reopen, do you go?
Of course I would. Nothings going to stop me from getting my favorite food. Even if i have to make it myself. Besides, like my teacher said yesterday, "better to have eaten cake before you die, then die and find out there is none in the afterlife."(not actually word for word but pretty close to what he said)

Plotting for some future RPGs

For a while now I have been thinking about starting an RPG. I want to start out with one or two very short RPG's with very few(2 or 3) people so i can get used to being a DM and maybe try a few things out. After the 'Practice' RPGs are out of the way, I want to start one that will be on going with many different adventures taht will go on for hopefully months. I also want to make a Journal of the Adventures in the RPG's in the form of a blog for others to read. Another thing i was planning to do with the RPG's was to incorporate 3dstudio max as a visual for the players instead of using figures on graph paper like others do. Ill build 3d models for all the characters and enemies and build environments to move them through. If anyone is interested in joining in let me know.
